Ok, so I'm new to this whole blogging thing.
Generally, I go old-school on these kinds of trips and frantically write every memory down in my little paper journal at night before I forget. It takes hours and - let's be honest - I can hardly read my handwriting at some points in time. (Not to mention I get the "fell-asleep-while-writing" lines all over my pages.)
I love the nostalgia of holding a journal and re-living those memories...and more importantly, one of my favorite parts about leaving the country is leaving all the clutter, technology and stress with it. BUT, after receiving requests of e-mail, facebook and phone updates, I decided it was time to cave and use some technology this time around...for the sake of letting you all stay in the loop and follow me on this adventure.
